Hello everyone! Thank you for taking a look at my wish list for the BCMHS Choir Program. The following items would enhance our program and we would be very grateful should you decide to contribute any item listed below. You may also simply donate monetarily to our program and let us choose what to purchase from the list! If you would choose that option, please make your check payable to BCMHS ASB and either send the donation with your student to choir, or leave it with one of our office staff. This provides us the means to access the funds more directly and simply. Either way, place in a sealed envelope with my name on it, so that it makes its way to me securely.
Note: If your donation is $100 or more, there is an additional (very simple) form that needs to be filled out. Please contact me for assistance.
All donations are tax deductible. Please request a receipt if you would like to write off your donation. I can also provide our tax ID, if necessary.
If you would prefer to go shopping to purchase wish list items, that would be appreciated just as much! If shopping is your pleasure, the following items would be a wonderful help to us:
*** Small, Locking Cash Box - I've seen these at Walmart and Staples for around $20. This would be very helpful for fundraising events, especially those that take place over the summer or during the evenings.
*** Velcro Brand Industrial Strength 15 feet X 2 inch white tape (color doesn't really matter). This heavy duty, very sticky velcro is what we use to hang posters and such on the front wall of the classroom. The velcro is extra sticky on both sides, one that attaches to the poster, and the other to the wall. Due to changes in the weather and the fact that our front wall is cement, we are in constant need of this double-sided velcro tape to keep the posters on the wall.
** DVDs including any of the following (used for our Movie and Pizza nights and on rare occasions in the classroom): Beauty and The Beast (both animated and recent live action would be appreciated), Les Miserables (2012 movie version), The Phantom Of The Opera (2004 version), Oklahoma!, West Side Story, The Music Man (1962 and 2003 versions), White Christmas, Oliver!, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Enchanted, Saving Mr. Banks, The Wizard of Oz, Zootopia, Moana, The Greatest Showman, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Aristocats, Chicken Little, Tarzan, Meet the Robinsons, Pollyanna, The Mighty Ducks,The Newsies,The Santa Claus, Pocahontas, Toy Story (1-3), Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo,Home On the Range, The Incredibles (1-2), High School Musical (1-3),Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Brave, Big Hero 6, McFarland USA, Inside Out, Coco, The Lion King, The Emperor's New Groove, The Princess Bride,The Muppet Movie, and Annie (any version).
** Scholarships/Donations - we have students who could very much use a hand in assisting them in attending our annual spring trip. Also, we have some needs for our program that are costly. For example, we are in need of back rails for our choir risers. Each one costs around $1,000, and we need six of them. Also, the sound quality in our room is severely lacking. The students love to go sing in the hallway near the conclusion of class anytime we have the opportunity as the acoustics are so much better. There is a way to enhance the sound in our room, but it is very costly. Saving up for these items takes a great deal of time. Will you help us reach our goal faster?
Thank you so much for considering a donation to the choir program. We are extremely grateful!
